Nesrine has a thing for timeless pieces. She always looks for simplicity in her creations. Born in Tunisia and living in Montreal, Nesrine finds her two cultures to be sources of inspiration for Atelier Hlow's pieces.
Where is your favorite place to create in Montreal?
I am always looking for that creative place. But for now, you can find me in my room, I'm one of those who like to stay at home to create. And that's fine.
How do you spend your free time, between work and creation?
I like to spend my free time looking for vintage finds in Montreal's bazaars. And my favorite weekend activity is to rest and spend quality time with myself, at home, or out. I always have my laptop on hand where I write my thoughts and new ideas.
Your favorite Tunisian dish?
I like the simplicity of Tunisian dishes, it's the quality of the ingredients that counts. But how to choose a single dish! In winter, I love lablebi and in summer, I love a good kafteji. Write to me if you know a good place to eat a real kafteji in Montreal!
I want to become the image of my own imagination. I wish I could try every project I have in my notebook without fear of failing.
